Hands of Grace / Rae of Light
Heart of Indie Radio
We are so very excited to announce our scholarship honoring the music and life of independent music artist, actress, and entertainer Avery Raquel. Avery is a very courageous young artist not at all afraid to push the envelope and set a whole new standard musically speaking. In her quest to chase her own dreams she simultaneously encourages and inspires other aspiring artists around the world to take that big leap of faith and chase their own dreams. Avery balances family time, college classes, rehearsals, performances, co-hosts an international radio program (The Memphis Show) on Heart of Indie Radio, yet still finds time to serve as a featured artist and full team member of Hands of Grace-Rae of Light in an ongoing effort to give back. Her dedication to children's charities, music education, as well as helping promote the awareness, education, and prevention of teen suicide is admirable. We know that Avery will continue to serve as a powerfully inspiring role model as she moves forward in her career and over the next decade she will encourage other artists to engage in the arts and fulfill their own potential.
